Other Ways to Provide Support
Planned Giving – This kind of legacy gift can take many forms—a specific bequest to C100 in a will or specifying C100 as a beneficiary of an IRA, life insurance policy, retirement fund, or bank account. Please contact us if you have any questions and alert us to your plan to make a legacy gift so that we can recognize your generosity as a member of the C100 Legacy Society by name or anonymously if you wish.
IRA Qualified Charitable Contributions – Gifts from Individual Retirement Accounts that are transferred directly by the plan administrator to the Committee of 100 may be used to count toward any Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), will not be subject to federal taxes, and are deductible as a charitable contribution. Please notify us if you are making such a gift so we can correctly credit it when it is received.
Gifts of Stock – Gifting appreciated stock allows the donor to take as a charitable deduction the full current value of the stock without paying capital gains taxes on the appreciation.
