Dr. Chestnut presented a new analysis that highlights how the proposed RFK Campus Master Plan must align with Washington, D.C.’s Green Building Act of 2006. The proposal emphasizes mandatory LEED standards, expansive wetland infrastructure, and shifting proposed parking structures away from residential areas to protect both neighborhood quality of life and the Anacostia River ecosystem.
